“I haven’t released a full-length solo record since 2019. I really wanted to put something out in the world that felt a little different from what I had released before, but also kind of a returning to home. Something a little quieter? Something a little hopeful? Something for those of us who can’t help but keep dreaming despite the darkness. And all under the sonic umbrella of decades past. This second single (following “Love Is” with Jason Mraz) is a cover of  “What A Wonderful World.” It’s not a statement. It’s more of a prayer. A wish. A dream. I hope it brings solace.
